The Evanston IL Real Estate scene through September 14 2016 continues to be strong. Buyers still purchasing homes has caused a lack of inventory. If a property is priced correctly we are seeing multiple offers on homes and condos. People are out looking and usually at about this time of year we see a slow down as vacations have ended and the kids are back to school.
The mid ranged properties are very popular and are selling well. The range for single family homes between $400k and $800 are really going under contract quickly and the homes over a million are taking a little longer to get under contract.
Currently in Evanston IL Real Estate we have 140 single family homes for sale and 55 properties under contract and waiting to close. In the last 30 days Evanston has had 48 houses close and they are now sold.
As for Condominiums Evanston currently has 141 properties for sale on the market and 75 under contract and waiting to close. In the last 30 days Evanston has had 64 condos close and they are now sold and off the market.
This is a very busy market for the middle of September. It is not too late to put your home up for sale or look for a property if you are interested in Evanston Real Estate. The days of the Spring market and defining dates are over. People are buying and selling when they are ready.
